Call for Abstract Presentations for the Poster Session of the II International Symposium on Veterinary Rehabilitation - Riabilvet

Presentation Guidelines

The works must refer to the following topics: ACUPUNCTURE, ANESTHESIA, EXOTIC ANIMALS, CARDIOLOGY, SURGERY, DERMATOLOGY, DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING, ENDOSCOPY, PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION, INTERNAL MEDICINE, EMERGENCY MEDICINE, NEUROLOGY, ONCOLOGY, ORTHOPAEDICS, REPRODUCTION, BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES.

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the II Symposium, composed of a physiatrist, a physiotherapist, a neurologist and an orthopedist.

The Scientific Committee will select the presentations from the abstracts submitted and will notify the authors of acceptance.

When completing the abstract, the following information should be included:

  1. Abstract title

  2. Area of interest

  3. Email address for correspondence

  4. Authors

  5. Text (max 250 words) and Bibliography (mandatory)

NB Papers without bibliographical references will be rejected.

Ethical Standards

The works must be based on ethical principles, be approved by the ethics committee of the reference institution and be acceptable to the Congress Scientific Committee. Experimental procedures and unnecessary suffering on live animals must be avoided as much as possible.

Submissions that do not comply with these ethical principles are automatically rejected.

If owned animals were used, it is necessary to document that informed consent was obtained from the owner.

Congress Registration

The author/presenter whose work is accepted for poster display will receive a 50% discount on the registration fee for all days of the conference.

The poster must be 1.30 meters high and 0.80 meters wide. Indicate the title, the author or authors and their affiliation at the top, printed in characters at least 5 cm high. The text of the Poster must be readable from a distance of at least 1 meter. Where permitted, the results must be presented with graphs and images. The posters will be set up, in a specially designated space, from the first morning of the conference and must remain on display for the entire duration of the conference.

The authors are available for questions and clarifications in front of their poster during the coffee breaks during the conference days.

Important Information

  • Posters will be available for viewing throughout the symposium.

  • The author(s) must ensure presence to answer specific questions during the announced time of the poster session.

  • At least one author must be registered for the conference and available to present at the designated time.
